Saint Francis Health System Specialist, Surgery Implant in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Job Summary: Manages surgery implants. Maintains appropriate levels of surgery inventory including surgery implants; performs tracking of orders, repairs, warranties, loans and maintains related regulatory documents including SMDA (Safe Medical Device Act) documentation. Acts as a liaison to surgeon's office for procurement of special orders.
Education: Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology Program or minimum of two years prior experience in surgery implant management position.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) preferred.
Work Experience: 1 year surgery scrub experience and/or 2 years in surgery implant purchasing and/or equivalent medical purchasing experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access as might be used in the preparation of correspondence and reports. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to interface with all levels of staff including management and surgeons. Ability to integrate the analysis of data to discover facts or develop knowledge, concepts or interpretations. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Ability to be detail oriented as required in the examination of numerical data.
