Extended Call Basis (ECB) Variable Position - Limited Benefits

Must be available between 8:00a - 4:30p - Not a FT Position

Job Summary: Ensures timely, accurate, and complete performance of all department clerical responsibilities and functions. Performs clerical activities with processing information within the Home Health Department. Performs activities in filing patient medical records, constructing of new patient records, preparing charts for storage and faxing vital patient information to physicians and other medical personnel.

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.

Work Experience: 1 year office experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to establish priorities for effective work completion, adapts quickly to changing conditions. Excellent communication, telephone, customer relations and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to operate department machines (fax, copier, telephone system, computer systems). Ability to manage switchboard. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to type 35 words per minute.
