Job Summary: The Home Care Aide III attends to the daily living and safety needs of an assigned group of patient under the direction of the registered nurse. Also performs other related non-professional services.
Education: Completion of training required to become certified as a Home Health Aide by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: State of Oklahoma current registration as Home Health Aide. Job duties will require use of a private vehicle. A valid driver's license, Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle liability insurance in the amount required by SFHS guidelines will be required. CPR required as well.
Work Experience: 1-2 years of hospital, nursing home or home health experience providing direct personal care to patients preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written. Basic computer skills. Reliable motorized transportation as needed for home visits.
