Saint Francis Health System Therapist, Occupational Graduate in Muskogee, Oklahoma

Job Summary: Provides clinical patient care by administering appropriate treatment. Progresses patient treatment as appropriate. Provides documentation by maintaining appropriate treatment records. Provides expert instruction to patients, family, and students. Responsible for upkeep of equipment and resource materials. The Therapist, Occupational Graduate is an interim position between graduation from an accredited Commission of Occupational Therapy (ACOTE) program in Occupational Therapy and employment as an OT. The GOT must take and pass the licensing exam, becoming licensed, within one (1) year of employment as a OT.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: The Therapist, Occupational Graduate is an interim position between graduation from an accredited Commission of Occupational Therapy (ACOTE) program in Occupational Therapy and employment as an OT. Work Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients and families. Ability to use computers, basic computer knowledge, as needed for data input and reporting. Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Effective reasoning ability and ability to be adaptable.
